Meghan Markle's best friend Jessica Mulroney is facing backlash over her quarrel with an African American blogger and influencer. As a result, the stylist has been fired from her TV jobs at both ABC in the U.S. and CTV in Canada.

According to Fox, Mulroney, who is known as a wedding guru, will no longer be seen in her Good Morning Americasegment on ABC as of Friday. The show issued a statement on its Twitter account to confirm that Mulroney is gone.

The stylist is also no longer the host of I Do Redo on CTV. In a statement, also issued on Twitter, the network said that Mulroney's conduct against an African American blogger conflicts with their "commitment to diversity."

Meghan's best friend has also lost her brand endorsements, such as Hudson's Bay and Kleinfled. She will also no longer be asked to be a guest expert on the daytime show Cityline.  In response, Mulroney said in an Instagram story that the "decided to step away" from her work commitments to "reflect and learn" amid her class with Sasha Exeter.

Exeter, who was once an athlete and now a social media influencer, revealed on Thursday that Mulroney once threatened her and used the race card against her. In a 12-minute video posted on Instagram, Exeter said that Mulroney "took offense to a very generic call to action" she posted on her profile about the George Floyd protests.

According to Vanity Fair, Mulroney allegedly assumed that Exeter was publicly critiquing her for not posting anything about Black Lives Matter. She said that Mulroney sent her a threat in writing on June 3, which Exeter said was strange because Mulroney's best friend is one of the most famous African American women.

Mulroney also told Exeter that she wasn't posting anything about the issue since she wants to avoid getting bullied when she has to promote a new show. Exeter said that Mulroney blocked her on Instagram after sending a "trail of offensive messages" that accused Exeter of unfairly singling out Mulroney. Exeter also claimed Mulroney silenced her, an African American single mom.

Meghan's best friend later posted that Exeter rightfully called her out and that she took things personally. She said that she's now aware she "needs to do better." Sources told Daily Mail that Meghan is "mortified" by what went on with her best friend, whom she knows is not a racist.
