Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had a promising plan when they moved to Los Angeles. However, much of these plans were disrupted as they arrived in the U.S. just as the coronavirus pandemic started to impact the world in the middle of March.

A friend told Entertainment Tonight that the very things that made Meghan unhappy while she lived in the U.K. as the newest member of the royal family are the same things she has been experiencing upon going back to her Los Angeles hometown. She had to isolate and she cannot see her friends to lower the risks of the virus spread. But isolation and not seeing her friends were what made up much of her life unbearable in London.

However, the friend said that while the relocation might be the wrong timing for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, their relationship remains "stronger than ever." The source said that Prince Harry and Meghan are making the most of their current situation amid the COVID-19 crisis and they regard this as a blessing, rather than a hitch. They currently have little distractions so  they can focus on their family and their work.

The source also said that Prince Harry and Meghan feel less pressure from their commitments. Thus, they are more careful and strategic about the choosing their next projects.

However, Meghan and Prince Harry also have some rude awakening about their life in the spotlight. The Duchess of Sussex especially realizes that the press will still be after her family regardless if she's in the U.K. or the U.S.

Meghan and Prince Harry have been warned about the media intrusion in Los Angeles, the home of many Hollywood celebrities. At the end of May, the couple had to make multiple reports to the police about drones flying over the houseto take photos and videos. The Sussexes also had to hire extra bodyguards to improve their security measures.

The royal pair have also been followed around L.A. when they did food deliveries for a charity. Paparazzi experts said that Prince Harry and Meghan will have cameras following them around as soon as the lockdown orders in California are completely gone. Celebrities like Lindsay Lohan and Sharon Osbourne have advised the couple to hire drivers to get away from the paparazzi or move to a different city where there's no media following them around.
