Derick Dillard and Jill Duggar are now in a middle of a controversy after the initial revealed their family problem with his wife's father, Jim Bob Duggar. So, the 31-year-old told they are now considering moving out of the country to continue their wish to serve the international mission field.

In an interview with The Sun, Derick Dillard revealed that their initial plan when they got married was to permanently serve the international mission field. Although he and Jill Duggar would go wherever God would take them, he believed it was the right time to leave their Arkansas life behind.

If ever the couple moves out of the country, it will not be the first time that they will do so. To recall, after they tied the knot in 2014, they lived in Central America for two years. They then announced their plan to return to the United States in 2017 and stopped their missionary work for a while.

However, due to his alleged rift with Jim Bob Duggar, he seemed to get the idea to get out of the country and move on. According to In Touch, the television personality revealed that he was not compensated for his time on the TLC show, Counting On. So, he and his wife had to leave the franchise in 2017.

Derick Dillard even slammed Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar in a tell-all interview with the vlogger Katie Joy, complaining about their inability to announce their own life events first. The announcements about their marriage, pregnancy, gender reveal, and births were not made by their own choice. So, if he could only do it again, the TLC star said he would have announced every important announcement of their lives himself even if it would get him in trouble.

In December 2019, he also revealed that he was working on a book that would tell his experiences while filming 19 Kids and Counting and its other spinoff shows. Although Derick Dillard is bravely talking about his issues with Jim Bob Duggar, Jill Duggar is "trying to stay out of it" in order to maintain her stable relationship with her parents.

A source revealed that the Duggar patriarch did not approve of Derick Dillard for his daughter. But as Jim Bob Duggar loves Jill Duggar, he chooses to stand by her choices. Despite Derick's issue with her family, Jill remains close to her parents. So, it remains to be seen what will happen between the two families from here.
