Rolling Stone has released its list of the Best Albums of 2020 so far and BTS had the unique honor of being included as the only Korean album on the list.

BTS' February comeback with Map of the Soul: 7 was widely praised by music magazine for showcasing the members' mastery of different music genres.  The album was lauded for including entries that ranged from Kpop, to hip hop, slow ballads, and post-Swedish electro-disco.

Rolling Stone took note that BTS played it smart by releasing this album as an homage to seven years together, to serve as a chronicle for their journey - from where they have been to where they hope to be in the future.

Suga also received a special mention in another entry when Halsey's album Manic also made it to the Rolling Stone's list.  The album received good reviews for being a perfect mix of everything and for including special collaborations with Alanis Morisette and Agust D, himself.

Apart from Rolling Stone, BTS has been enjoying much great feedback for their comeback album which was released last February 21.

In its review of the album, Time Magazine also credited BTS for trying to break free of the Kpop stereotypes by exploring different genres of music and developing partnerships with different communities.

Time said that Map of the Soul:7 built on the community that BTS has created over the years and embraced even more technologies and musical influences to create content that is appealing to all types of listeners. The review further said that with the album, BTS managed to set the map that they will be following for the future years.

While BTS continues to receive positive feedback from music pundits, ARMYs recently expressed their dissatisfaction over Billboard's blatant snub of BTS in their list of potential Grammy nominees for next year.

According to a report by Koreaboo, despite ruling the Billboard chart consistently for years, Billboard did not acknowledge RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook in its Best Bets for the 2021 Grammy Awards article,Koreaboo reported.

Billboard made no mention of BTS for potential nominees to the Grammys for the major categories like Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best New Artist, and even in lesser contested categories, despite winning three American Music Awards and multiple awards at the Billboard Music Awards and MTV Video Music Awards last year.
