More and more Republican Party voters are declaring their vote for Democratic Party candidate Joe Biden in a resounding rebuke of Donald Trump.

Raging discontent among liberal Republicans over Trump's incompetence and his relentless scandals is driving more and more members of the GOP to abandon Trump for Biden and urge fellow Republicans to do the same. Trump's utter unfitness for the job of U.S. president has been magnified by the COVID-19 crisis and the ongoing Black Lives Matter protests where he keeps showing his intent to divide and not unite the nation.

Witness to these defections are the establishment of two more anti-Trump super political action committees (Super PACs) this month with the sole aim of denying Trump reelection on November 3. These more recent Super PACs are The Right Side PAC and the 43 Alumni for Biden PAC founded by heavyweights within the GOP. Their joint aim: turn out the vote for Biden in November.

Two other Republican PACs formed earlier are already taking action against Trump: The Lincoln Project and Republican Voters Against Trump.

Launched only last Wednesday, The Right Side PAC was founded by Anthony Scaramucci, Trump's former communications director. Scaramucci said his Super PAC will focus on turning as many white Republican voters against Trump in swing states like Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Arizona, North Carolina and Florida. He said his group will use digital, phone, and mail to reach voters.

In talking to GOP voters, the Super PACs operative will focus on Biden's record on free trade, states' rights, federal spending and respecting U.S. diplomatic and military alliances. They'll also highlight Biden's Catholic faith.

Scaramucci said The Right Side PAC is receiving support from Republicans that worked for the campaigns of George W. Bush and the late Sen. John McCain. He said defeating Trump "will be a very necessary part of the reorganization and the regrowth of the Republican Party." A Trump reelection will doom the Republican Party up to be a minority party for a generation.

Organized on June 1, 43 Alumni For Biden consists of election veterans that worked for former president George W. Bush, the 43rd president, hence the name of the group. It shares a common aim with The Right Side PAC and is also fund raising for Biden. It's known Bush will not vote for Trump.

Both these groups follow in the footsteps of the largest and most vocal anti-Trump group in the GOP -- The Lincoln Project. The Lincoln Project was formed in late 2019 by several prominent Republicans and former Republicans.

The goal of the PAC: prevent Trump's reelection. In April, The Lincoln Project announced its endorsement of Biden. It's spent $1.4 million against Trump until March, and raised another $1 million after Trump attacked them.

Peter Jeffrey Kuznick, an expert in 20th- and 21st-century presidents at the American University, said the rejection of a sitting president by his own party is "unprecedented" in modern American history. He also said it's an "extremely unusual" occurrence.
