Meghan Markle received some early support amid rumored plans that she will one day run for U.S. president. Apparently, she and Prince Harry would make a "formidable" team if she pursues her dreams for the White House.

According to Coral's John Hill, Meghan's plans to enter politics doesn't sound surprising. This early, the bookmaker said that there's a 50-1 chance that Meghan would be a Democratic nominee in 2032 and a 66-1 chance that she will be the President of the United States with Prince Harry by her side.

Ladbroke bookmaker Jessica O'Reilly told Daily Express that it might still be too early to bet on Meghan as U.S. president though. She is still considered as an outside among the bookies and she is not the first celebrity to try her hand in politics.

For now, however, it seems Meghan is interested in establishing a political platform by speaking up against racism and learning about the Black Lives Matter movement. She and Prince Harry are also slowly setting up their humanitarian efforts with their upcoming foundation, Archewell. This organization will, allegedly, cover women's rights and women's health as part of Meghan's advocacy.

Meghan's political plans come as royal biographer Lady Colin Campbell claimed that the Duchess of Sussex expressed her ambition to be president one day. Campbell, whose book Meghan and Harry: The Real Story will be published this week, believes that this is all part of the Duchess of Sussex's broader goals, hence she and Prince Harry decided to move to California.

Campbell is not fond of Meghan per se. The author and reality TV star said that Meghan and Prince Harry "squandered" the biggest opportunity of all by making their royal exit last March 31.

She said that she personally partied with the royals and met Meghan during Prince Charles 70th birthday. The Duchess of Sussex, reportedly, horrified guests when she wanted to leave the party after having her photo taken.

Campbell said this was an early warning sign that Meghan will not adjust to the royal life. She believes that it was the Duchess of Sussex who drove Prince Harry to decide to step back from his destiny and path as a working royal.

The biographer's claims don't jive with another revelation from the book Finding Freedom, which is due to hit store shelves in August. Royal biographers Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand will, reportedly, reveal the truth about Prince Harry and Meghan's royal exit.

There have been speculations that Prince Harry wanted out as a working royal even before he and Meghan got married. Sources apparently knew that the Duke of Sussex was not happy with his role and wanted to take on a different path.
