The withdrawal announcement of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle happened after the Duke of Sussex confirmed in a documentary that he and Prince William are “on different paths” now. Prince Harry said during his and Meghan Markle’s engagement interview in 2017 that the meeting was exciting. The Duke of Sussex shared that his brother and Kate Middleton had been longing to meet Meghan.

“Catherine has been absolutely…” Prince Harry said and Meghan Markle continued, “Wonderful.” The Duke of Sussex then added, “Amazing, as has William as well, and then my father as well.” As for Queen Elizabeth, Meghan Markle shared that she had met Her Majesty a “couple of times,” saying that the moment was “incredible.”

Meanwhile, Ever since Meghan Markle joined the Royal family in 2018, reports about her and Kate Middleton not getting along have been making their rounds on the internet. Various sites and magazines claimed that the wives of Prince William and Prince Harry are not as close as they should be.

In fact, the Duchesses have been attending the event together for the past couple of years. Unfortunately, they are forced to cancel this tradition as the London-based tournament has been called off due to the coronavirus pandemic.
