Prince William’s birthday on June 21 was particularly special as it landed on Father’s Day as well. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s Instagram account shared an adorable snap of the future King with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis to mark his birthday. The caption revealed that the snap was taken by Kate Middleton earlier this month.

On the day of his birthday, Prince William surprised their followers with two more heartwarming photos of him and the kids. The pictures show the Duke of Cambridge being playful with the young royals as he thanked everyone who wished him a happy birthday.

However, a new report shared that while many were busy greeting Prince William on social media, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were not able to support the Duke of Cambridge on his birthday. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex couldn’t share their greetings for the future King as their social media accounts have been inactive for months.

As part of the deal for their withdrawal, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were banned from using the word “royal” in their future activities. The couple’s Instagram account is set to Sussex Royal, which means that they are not allowed to use it anymore.

After saying their goodbyes to their Instagram followers on March 30, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not posted on the Sussex Royal account since. Reports also claimed that the couple was set to close down their Sussex Royal Foundation as they start their new life outside the Royal family. However, their account is still up on the social media platform, but there was no new post.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are two of the most popular members of the Royal family. When The Duke and Duchess of Sussex tied the knot in 2018, they quickly garnered a huge number of supporters who backed up all their activities and campaigns.

So when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Sussex Royal account was created on Instagram, they amassed over 11 million followers. However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have lost hundreds of thousands of followers on the social media platform after abandoning it upon their royal exit.

And because of this, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were not able to greet Prince William on social media. But since previous reports revealed that the royal brothers are now regularly communicating, it is expected that the Duke of Sussex greeted his brother privately.
