BTS V has earned another nickname after his exceptional visuals stole the hearts of Japanese fans during BTS' 'Stay Gold' performance.

BTS V or Kim Taehyung became known as "The Guy with the Glasses" as the latest addition to his list of monickers from fans who sought him out online.

According to a report from All Kpop, V started trending on No. 5 of Japanese Twipple social media platform after the performance and ranked the highest among the members whom fans were talking about. He also trended on Naver Japan at the No. 2 spot.

Tete, one of his nicknames also made it to No. 50 of Yahoo's Hot 100 Search Topics. Also among the search topics on the site was "Guys with Glasses BTS" which indicated that non-fans were looking for the particular BTS member.

Japanese fans' search for V even prompted an article on Naver in which Kim Taehyung was described as an Ikemen (handsome guy) with black hair, glasses, and a microphone.V trended on several platforms after making an appearance for a total of 15 seconds.

This was not the first time that V trended on social media from fan searches. It can be recalled that he became he earned the nickname Gucci Boy because he prefers the brand for his professional outings. He also drew attention as the "guy sitting next to Ariana Grande" during an impromptu shot during the rehearsals for the last Grammy Awards.He followed up the nickname with "The guy with the green hair" after he appeared in the Grammys with freshly dyed hair.

He also won over new fans who were impressed with his visuals at the 2019 Times Square New Year's event where he trended as "the guy with the long black coat."

During the Jingle Ball performance 2019, American fans trended the topic "the guy with long black curly hair."

Who can forget the first time that BTS  performed in the Middle East and Arab fans took to Twitter to find "the guy with the green mic." For the performance, he also trended for his performance of "Singularity."

V is known by fans as the Visual Representative of Kpop, owing to his magnificent visuals that is one of the most sought after looks in Korea.However, even expert plastic surgeons admitted that while the demand to copy his unique looks was high, they would find it close to impossible to recreate his natural, God-given look.
