Prince Andrew and Harry were, reportedly, pushed out of the royal family because of a silent coup staged by the people working for Prince Charles and Prince William. Author Nigel Cawthorne published this bold claim in his new book Prince Andrew, Epstein and the Palace.

According to Cawthorne, the royal aides facilitated a "well-timed leak" to remove Prince Andrew and Harry. Apparently, this was the beginning of the "pruning " of the monarchy.

Plans that Prince Harry could quit his role as a working royal surfaced in the grapevine right after Prince Andrew did his train wreck of an interview with BBC in November 2019. Allegedly, the factions around Prince Charles and Prince William agreed to a common cause. They need to remove the spares to the heirs so they leaked out Prince Harry's plans to step back from their royal life with his wife, Meghan Markle, around the time Prince Andrew was dealing with a serious backlash over his interview.

Cawthorne described the coup as "one of the most stunning" silent orchestration to have ever happened in Buckingham Palace. According to Daily Express, the palace has no comments on Cawthorne's allegations.

The royal author also alleges that Prince Andrew always had the protection of his mother Queen Elizabeth. As a young boy, the Duke of York was spoiled and indulged, and looked down on "common people."

An aide, allegedly, told Cawthorne that Prince Andrew treated those who work for him in a rude manner. He would sometimes behave like a child throwing a tantrum and had "no social graces at all." Growing up, Prince Andrew was, reportedly, a bad judge of character so he ended up making friends with the likes of Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted pedophile.

Meanwhile, Cawthorne's book was published prior to the release of an unauthorized biography of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Written by Lady Colin Cambell, Meghan and Harry: The Real Story, described the Duchess of Sussex as an opportunist who made Prince Harry drop his friends and move to California with her because the latter is alleged weaker. Campbell wrote that despite the royal family embracing Meghan and her diversity, the Sussex couple squandered the privileges accorded to them by walking away from their royal life.

The author also said that the Sussex pair's rift with the royal family started when Meghan was escorted out of Prince Charles' party because she said it was boring, per Daily Mail. However, a video surfaced from that party showing no untoward incident of any kind. Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, could be seen in the video greeting their son and daughter-in-law happily.
