Prince Harry and Meghan Markle turned their backs on royal life to live peacefully and be “financially independent” as they focus on their family and charities. The couple then packed their bags and moved to Los Angeles with their son Archie after they officially stepped down from their senior royal roles at the end of March.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex wished to make a fresh start in the US with rumors circulating the internet that they will be joining the Hollywood scene. Previous reports even claimed that Meghan Markle has been “actively looking” for an agent or manager.

Back in April, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced the name of their new foundation, Archewell. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared that they were inspired by the word “Arche” for their new foundation, which is also the name of their son.

It seemed like things were going well for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after their royal exit. However, the coronavirus outbreak happened and their plans came to a screeching halt.

Just like most places, Los Angeles also implemented a lockdown in an attempt to stop the spread of COVID-19. The emergency protocol should be strictly followed until it is lifted.

Now, a new report claims that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are struggling during the coronavirus lockdown in Los Angeles. On the other hand, Prince William and Kate Middleton are “doing some great work” during the pandemic, according to a royal expert.

"We have seen Kate and Prince William doing some great work,” Roya Nikkhah said on True Royalty TV with Kate Thornton. “I think Kate has really been flourishing in her Zoom calls but what about Meghan and Harry?” The royal expert then noted that the move of Duke and Duchess of Sussex was a “little off.”

Roya Nikkhah pointed out that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were still “finding their feet” in Los Angeles before the lockdown. And while they were trying to settle in their new life, the coronavirus pandemic happened.

Just like most people all around the world, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also can’t go out anytime they want. But reading about the coronavirus pandemic and how it affected a lot of people made the couple feel that they couldn’t just sit at home and do nothing and they decided to sign up as volunteers for Project Angel Food, which is a non-profit organization.
