Meghan Markle's throng of fans have, once again, gone after Kate Middleton. In a video for Wimbledon, where the Duchess of Cambridge provided the voice over, fans of the Duchess of Sussex stormed the comments section with criticisms against Prince William's wife.

Wimbledon's official Twitter account shared Kate's video, where she said that she will be counting the days and looking forward to the games resuming in 2021. The tennis event was canceled this year amid the coronavirus pandemic. Wimbledon 2020 was supposed to start on June 28.

According to Daily Express, Meghan's fans apparently posted in the comments that Kate could never match up to Meghan nor will she be as effective as the Duchess of Sussex, who also did voice overs for a Disney film. Another fan said that Kate copies Meghan but the Cambridge royal's voice over delivery has no emotion. A fan also recommended that Kate needs a year of practice and help to get her voice over gig right.

The comments section quickly turned into a debate with some fans staying neutral and encouraging others to appreciate both duchesses for who they are and for what they are doing. One more level-headed comment said that there shouldn't be a comparison between the two women.

But this isn't the first time Meghan's fans have attacked Kate's videos in recent weeks. When the Duchess of Cambridge had her school day speech for the children returning to school in the U.K., fans also posted their comments against the royal.

Kate emphasized on the topic of kindness in her video to the children. Meghan's fans took issue over the fact that she, allegedly, wasn't kind to the Duchess of Sussex.

Some wrote in that Kate was not the best person to talk to children about being kind. Other fans once again brought up the fact that the Duchess of Cambridge copied the Duchess of Sussex, who also spoke to high school kids in early June.

Royal expert Duncan Larcombe said that Kate hopes the comparisons with her sister-in-law would stop. It's the reason she had lawyers from Kensington Palace send a legal notice to Tatler, which recently published a story about Kate and Meghan that the palace said was full of inaccuracies.

Apparently, the Tatler story touched a nerve for Kate so she wants to put an end to the comparisons made between her and Meghan, as well as the comparisons between the Sussexes and the Cambridges. Larcombe said that the British tabloid media often uses Kate as "a stick to beat Meghan with."
