Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice could not hold their tears back during a recent video call with a grandmother. The York sisters were speaking with the honorees of the Teenage Cancer Trust Awards, and one of them was an 85-year-old woman.

Enid Waterfall, who was one of the recipients of the award, told Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice of the story of her grandson, Richard, who died from the disease at 21-years-old. The grandmother was inspired to hold a fundraiser in honor of him.

The grandmother said that this was her way of keeping close to Richard. She said that she still feels her grandson's love in the people who have worked with her to raise the money and this made Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice cry

Waterfall said that winning the award is not for her but for Richard and the people who have kept his memory alive. Richard apparently also did a lot of fundraising even in the final moments of his life in 2018.

Responding to Waterfall, Princess Eugenie said that she was sorry to hear about the loss of Richard. She commended the grandmother for doing an amazing thing despite missing her grandson and coping with his loss.

Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice are patrons of the trust since they were little kids, as inspired by their mother, Sarah Ferguson. Teenage Cancer Trust helps young people and also shines the spotlight on the workers and carers, as well as the families and friends of young cancer victims.

Princess Eugenie said that she and her sister are always honored to present the awards, especially in this public health crisis. There are many frontline workers and fundraisers from this community that she said continues to inspire her.

Meanwhile, Daily Express reported that the second York daughter may be pregnant with her first baby with husband Jack Brooksbank. Apparently, she had this glow on her face in her video call with her sister and Waterfall. Bookmakers are apparently sure that there will be a pregnancy announcement in the coming weeks from Buckingham Palace.

Princess Eugenie has been isolating from the COVID-19 pandemic with her parents and husband at the Royal Lodge. Princess Beatrice, on the other hand, is staying with her fiancé Edo Mapelli Mozzi and his mother. The couple have decided to postpone their wedding, originally set for May 29, because of the public health crisis.
