A former army man dubbed Prince Harry as a "complete idiot" after the Duke of Sussex said that the British people must acknowledge the "uncomfortable" history of the Commonwealth. Ex-Royal Irish Regiment soldier Sergeant Trevor Coult said that he's very disgusted with Queen Elizabeth grandson's statement.

Coult said that it was better Prince Harry left the U.K. if he was going to make a statement that appeared to be taking a jab at his own family. Coult also said that many soldiers in the British Army are not pleased with what the Duke of Sussex said during a video chat with the youth leaders of the Commonwealth Trust.

The ex-army added that Prince Harry is losing support in the U.K. each time he speaks because he "insults the Queen" and the royal family. Coult, however, said that he's sad to see this because he believes that the Duke of Sussex did plenty of good work before he left London.

In fact, Coult supported Prince Harry's campaign to help ex-military men dealing with struggles of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) when he launched the Invictus Games and his other military advocacies. He said he respected the royal for his service as a fellow ex-army man.

The Commonwealth, consisting of over 50 countries, was under the British rule for several years after the colonization of the British Empire. Now, these countries are independent of each other but still recognizes Queen Elizabeth as the head of state.

Tory MP Andrew Rosindell also said Prince Harry made a disappointing comment that will not likely make his grandmother happy. He advised the duke to just focus on getting his life in order and not involve himself in any political stance.

Robert Jobson, a royal correspondent, also criticized the Duke of Sussex and his wife, Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex. He said that the couple doesn't seem to understand the Commonwealth under Queen Elizabeth's rule.

The royal expert said that there have been many developments and improvements since Queen Elizabeth became the head of state. Today, the Commonwealth is linked to helping people and communities with education and jobs.

Meanwhile, one of the people who was actually involved in that video talk with Prince Harry and Meghan said that she was hesitant to attend initially because their topic was going to be sensitive. It seemed weird for Alicia Wallace to be discussing equality, social justice and racism with the royals but she said the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made hercomfortable and at ease. Wallace said that the couple seemed earnest in listening to their issues.
