Kate Middleton has been preparing herself for her future role as the Queen Consort. But despite her multiple royal obligations, the Duchess of Cambridge had always put her kids on top of her priority list.

Being the wife of the future King, things are definitely hectic for Kate Middleton. However, the Duchess of Cambridge remained a hands-on parent to her three young children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

In a pre-recorded interview, Kate Middleton shared some parenting hacks on BBC Breakfast, alongside a number of experts. The Duchess of Cambridge said that the new program, Tiny Happy People, is an amazing platform for parents.

Tiny Happy People is a language and literacy initiative that focuses on the development of children’s language. The program’s aim is for parents to talk to their children from an early age.

“It’s information like that I wish I had had as a first-time mom. It’s gold dust, really, for families to be given those tips and tools to be able to use, particularly in those first five years,” Kate Middleton said.

Although Kate Middleton felt she needed a lot of help when she had Prince George in 2013, she and Prince William are definitely getting the hang of being parents. In fact, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been praised multiple times for how they raised their children.

Also, Prince William and Kate Middleton previously shared a parenting hack of their own, which is unique and powerful. Just like most parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also have some rules and techniques in raising their kids.

Even though Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are royal children, that does not mean that they are well-behaved every single day. Of course, they also do naughty things like most kids do.

But instead of punishing them, Prince William and Kate Middleton introduced the “chat sofa.” Here, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will talk to their kids and ask what is upsetting them. They want to understand their children’s needs in order to resolve the issue through an open discussion.

When the kids express their anger, Prince William and Kate Middleton will immediately send them to the sofa. Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are then encouraged to talk about their feelings while the couple applies “emotional coaching” to help them with their emotions.
