Things are getting more and more interesting in Kanye West's presidential bid. Caitlyn Jenner joined the bandwagon and revealed her intention to become the rapper's running mate.

During an encounter with TMZ after grabbing her coffee in Westlake Village, California this week, Jenner was asked if she would vote for Kanye in the 2020 elections. The outlet did not just get a confirmation of support from the former Olympian. Instead, Caitlyn said she already told Kanye that she wants to be his vice president.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star said she called the rapper to express her intention to be his running mate. Kendall and Kylie's father believed that she and the Jesus Is King rapper would be an awesome combination on Kanye's Birthday Party ticket. Pressed if she was serious about her plan, Cailyn just said, "We'll see!"

Kim Kardashian's husband already said Michelle Tidball would be his running mate. The obscure preacher from Wyoming, however, hasn't accepted Kanye's offer to be his running mate. West, on the other hand, hasn't responded to the statement of Caitlyn.

Meanwhile, after Jenner declared her intention to be the rapper's VP, many took to Twitter to express their disappointment about the kind of presidential election that Americans would be having come November. Some questioned the qualification of both Kanye and Jenner in running the country's affairs should they win the election.

Others recalled an episode in South Park Season 19 in 2015 that made a satirical version of Caitlyn Jenner. In the said episode, the 70-year-old reality star was depicted as the running mate of Mr. Garrison, who ran for President against a satirical version of Hilary Clinton.

Though she has yet to get a response from West, there is still hope for Caitlyn's VP plans as Kanye's presidential bid seemed to be moving forward despite earlier speculations that he would drop out of the race.

Earlier this week, speculations emerged that the Chicago-raised singer would drop out of the race, barely two weeks after he made a surprise announcement about his intention to run against Donald Trump and Joe Biden. The speculation stemmed from the result of the first poll to include him in the presidential ring saw him win with just 2% of the American vote.

The Life of Pablo singer doesn't seem to be affected by the poll. He reiterated in his recent interview with Forbes Magazine that he is serious with his presidential run

He, also, filed legal documents in Oklahoma qualifying him to get on the state's ballot. In addition, TMZ reported that Yeezy filed on Thursday a second set of documents with the Federal Election Commission. Apparently, it is the Statement of Candidacy which showed Kanye spent or raised over $5,000 in campaign-related expenses which officially elevated him to candidacy status under the federal campaign law.
