Melania Trump has, repeatedly, emphasized the importance of wearing masks amid the pandemic crisis. Following the Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention's guidelines in April, the First Lady has since advised her followers on social media to cover their faces, especially when going out.

Despite the apparent "differences" between the East and West Wing's view in terms of donning face coverings, the U.S. President's wife has, reportedly, continued to follow the recommendations of the health officials. However, it was only last week when she wore a face mask again during an official outing, according to The Hill.

The publication said that Melania Trump made an "unannounced" visit at The Mary Elizabeth House, which is a "women's center" in Washington, D.C., last week. She, reportedly, "interacted" with several mothers and children during the outing.

Aside from her interaction, the First Lady also reportedly donated "boxed lunches." As noted, White House chefs prepared the donations for the women's center.

Melania also gave away several Be Best tote bags, along with other items. She, then, reportedly, "instructed" the White House Kitchen Garden's "produce and vegetables" to be sent at the center, as well, according to CNN.

In the same report, Melania Trump, reportedly, shared a glimpse of what happened during the public engagement the following weekend. As stated, it features her wearing a white face mask as she interacts with the participants and staff from The Mary Elizabeth House.

Reports went on to assert that the video on social media has become the first "footage" in weeks showing the First Lady wearing a face mask in public. The East Wing's Chief of Staff, Stephanie Grisham, also, reportedly, shared that alongside Melania, her staff and aides also wore masks during the recent visit to the center.

Melania Trump's post on social media garnered several reactions from netizens. Despite sharing that it was a "pleasure" to spend time with everyone at the women's ministry, which she described as a place that "helps strengthen families," many individuals slammed her on the comment section of her post.

Some netizens left a sarcastic tone toward the effort of the First Lady. Others even said that it was another "more campaigning" tactic on Trump's camp.

On the other hand, though, some of Melania Trump's followers shared their praises toward Donald Trump's wife. Most of them asserted that, even when she wears a mask, one could not deny her "beauty." Some also said that she is a "nice person," and that it was a "well done" effort.
