Blindspot series finale is coming this week on NBC, with the title "Iunne Ennui." A lot of exciting things are coming in this episode, with Jane being at the center of almost everything. She still needs to face some of her problems before the show officially concludes.
Based on some recently released photos of Blindspot series finale, Jane is in the middle of a tight position and her life could be in jeopardy. The image teased that the character is getting either waterboarded or in some water-based action sequence.
Since this is also the 100th episode, we could expect a lot of big moments and unexpected twists and turns. Jane is seemingly being tortured, something that has been part of the series since the beginning. Even though Madeline is already dead, other adversaries could still put her life in danger.
The finale may reflect from everything that happened in the past, and then incorporate them to what's happening in the present. Perhaps, there could be some sort of dream-sequences especially if Jane struggles to retain her memories following the events that transpired in the previous installment.
The promo of Blindspot series finale also hinted that Jane seemingly lost some of her memories, which was already teased in the penultimate episode. Fans could likely see the character doing whatever she can just to get her memories back.
But, one of the major questions here is whether or not Jane is still the same person before the series officially ends. The recent events suggest that she isn't the same anymore and doesn't remember some of the things she's been to.
The preview photos further showed Jane looking confused while talking to Weller about something. In the first season, she was found in Times Squares with her memories fully wiped out and her bodies full of cryptic tattoos. It seems like it's repeating, with Jane possibly getting zipped once again.
Moreover, the problem of Jane and the team doesn't end with Madeline's death since Ivy Sands is still on the loose. She's been trying to get the stash of ZIP bombs to explode, putting everyone in danger. While the team got the help of Kathy Gustofson, the mission isn't that easy because Jane was trapped inside the room where the ZIP bomb goes off.
Blindspot series finale will be airing on Thursday night, July 23, on NBC.
