Kai Havertz wants to fast-track his move to Chelsea F.C. and plans to meet with Bayer Leverkusen officials soon. Havertz has been widely linked to the Blues but his transfer can only push through if the $88 million asking fee is satisfied.

Havertz plans to sit down with Leverkusen comes not long after reports came out that technical adviser Petr Cech will fly to Germany next week after the Blues Premier League campaign. It is believed that Cech will sit down with the German side to negotiate the deal for the 21-year-old midfielder.

But it appears Havertz wants to make sure that the deal falls through smoothly. Also, the German player wants to move at the earliest possible time so he can get acquainted with the system of Lampard, BILD reported. For Die Werkself, it also hints that Havertz may not be keen on playing for the club in the Europa League set to take place next month.

Though he can wait until after that, there is the question of time. If Havertez were to wait until after the Europa League, he would be left with only three weeks to train with Chelsea for next season. With the alleged plans, Havertz wants to have a full preseason with Lampard and the Blues so that he can fit in well.

Leverkusen seems resigned to the idea that they will be losing Havertz soon. But having him around for the Europa League would have given the German side a big boost. Unfortunately, the mindset of the German midfielder seems to be already at Stamford Bridge. Even if a deal does not push through, he may play half-heartedly and such could hurt Leverkusen's chances.

Hence, the next best thing for Leverkusen now is to start prowling the market for alternatives. Ironically, Real Madrid is ready to give them an assist. Reiner Jesus is reportedly being offered to Die Werkself on loan, a move to help the 18-year-old hone his skills. Talks are already underway and a loan deal seems imminent.

As for Havertz, Chelsea would add another young piece to its new faces. They already have Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech from prior deals, making the Blues an interesting club to watch next season. Like Havertz, the two are already starting to get used to the system of the Blues. To join in, the German wants to join the duo who will comprise a young and dangerous mix of players for Chelsea next season.
