The official release date of Vikings season 6 episode 11 is not yet revealed, but History Channel recently shared a sneak peek of what's coming in the installment. During the Comic-Con@Home, the network teased fans some exciting stories, including the arrival of Bjorn Ironside.

On Friday, July 24, History Channel unveiled the latest sneak peek of Vikings season 6 episode 11. The midseason finale left a huge cliffhanger, with the fate of Bjorn being in question. The episode saw Bjorn, Erik the Red, Gunnhild, King Olad, and King Harald go head to head with Ivar and King Oleg.

Ivar attacked Bjorn by striking his sword on his chest, with some believing the latter is dead. This has been one of the biggest concerns since the midseason finale and fans will, finally, have an answer to that as the teaser showed Bjorn is still alive.

In fact, in a previous interview with Gamespot, series creator Michael Hirst also confirmed that Bjorn survived his tragic fate in Vikings season 6 episode 11. He revealed that the character is "not yet dead" and the midseason premiere would just "knock your socks off."

Clearly, there are still a lot of Bjorn's stories that needed to be told. It's also interesting to see how Prince Oleg and Ivar will react when they find out that he is still alive. A lot of battles could be coming here, putting some of the characters' lives in great danger.

The sneak peek of Vikings season 6 episode 11 featured Ragnar's two sons, Bjorn and Ivar, meeting at the battlefield. A priest can be seen blessing everyone as a sarcastic comment about how sacrifices should've been made can be heard in the background.

Meanwhile, the upcoming spin-off series Vikings: Valhalla is arriving on Netflix at some point. The follow-up series hasn't been cast at the moment, but the story is the continuation of the main season that takes place 100 years after Vikings.

The story will likely follow entirely different characters, so we wouldn't likely see Bjorn, Ivar, and others in the spin-off series. Yet, some stories in the original show are still needed to be addressed and some of these may continue in the sequel.

History Channel hasn't yet officially revealed the release date of Vikings season 6 episode 11. The series is, currently, on its midseason break and has been off-air for a while now. But, some reports suggest the network could follow its usual pattern, wherein it is being released in the last week of November.
