Kate Middleton is loved by many, but her journey to the Royal Family is not all rainbows and butterflies. The Duchess of Cambridge faced a lot of criticisms before joining the clan. She was even mocked for waiting too long to be proposed to by Prince William, giving her the rude nickname of "Waity Katie."

Now, a new report shared that Kate Middleton even received backlash from Palace aides. This revelation debunks claims in the new book “Finding Freedom” that Palace courtiers are making things hard for Meghan Markle because they do not like her.

According to the unofficial biography, Prince Harry felt that Palace aides “simply didn’t like Meghan and would stop at nothing to make her life difficult.” However, a previous report revealed that Kate Middleton had been a “controversial figure” when she first joined the Royal Family.

Journalist Lucy Devine said in the 2016 documentary William & Kate: The Journey that the Duchess of Cambridge was a little too independent for the royals. She claimed that Prince William and Kate Middleton’s head housekeeper and head gardener even quit their jobs.

“Kate is in a difficult position because she didn’t grow up with household servants. She likes to cook, she likes to do things for William, and she very much likes the privacy one gets without servants around,” she said.

Kate Middleton’s commoner ways seemed to have rubbed off on Prince William as well. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are keen to control how they raise their children.

Also, Prince William and Kate Middleton are hands-on parents. Instead of giving most of their parenting obligations to the staff, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge always make sure to be there for Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

Meanwhile, royal authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, who penned Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s unofficial biography claimed that it is “an accurate version of their journey.” However, a spokesman for the couple said that they “were not interviewed and did not contribute to ‘Finding Freedom.’”

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams, previously, pointed out that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could have put a stop to the publication of the unofficial biography, but they didn’t.

Omid Scobie shared that he had been secretly working on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s tell-all book for two years. He and Carolyn Durand authored the much-awaited biography, which will detail from the romance and marriage of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, down to their split from the Royal Family.
