Yellowstone season 3 episode 7 is arriving this week on Paramount Network, with the title "The Beating." The episode follows the events that happened in the previous one, with the tension between Jamie and his father John Dutton continues.
In Yellowstone season 3 episode 7, Jamie and John were caught in the middle of a heated situation. After Beth's revelation about her infertility, John finally understands his daughter's hatred on Jamie. Later on, he lashed out at his son and recognized that the situation is beyond repair.
John is heartbroken because of what happened to his daughter. He, also, feels like his legacy is shattered because he knows that his children won't be working together. Beth and Jamie's relationship has been severely damaged and there's no indication they'll patch things up very soon.
But, John needs to ensure that both Jamie and Beth can coexist in the coming weeks and months, especially since there are a lot of threats looming around the ranch. He has to do something to save it from Roarke and his people. All of them need to deal with larger forces and it won't be easy at all.
John knows that Jamie and Beth are an important part of the ranch. And while his children may not get along, he also needs to find ways so that the two could temporarily work together. After all, they have the same goal in mind: saving the ranch from Roarke.
There are only a few episodes left this season and Roarke will continue to be a huge part of the story moving forward. He has a role in everything that's happening on the Dutton family and he is willing to do whatever he can to get what he wants.
As for what else is coming in Yellowstone season 3 episode 7, Jimmy is meeting a rodeo legend. Although this seemed to be interesting and important for him, it's still concerning to see him getting back into something that could potentially harm him.
He finds self-value in riding, but he is pouring a lot of pressure on himself just to prove to everyone else what he's capable of. He is putting himself in constant danger by trying to get back on this even when he doesn't have to prove anything.
Yellowstone season 3 episode 7 airs on Sunday, Aug. 2, on Paramount Network.
