SEAL Team season 4 hasn't kicked off production, so the release date remains unknown at the moment. Cast and crew may not start anytime soon due to the current global health crisis. There are a lot of things that should be considered first, particularly following certain health measures.

One of the major challenges for SEAL Team season 4 is that it requires large groups of people to be in the same place together. Considering the current situation, maintaining a proper social distance is one of the first things that needed to be followed.

There could be changes in the series, including fewer scenes with a lot of people. Yet, despite the challenges the series is facing, cast members continue their training. Even though there's uncertainty, they still prepare for the upcoming installment.

For instance, AJ Buckley, who plays Sonny Quinn, shared on his Instagram account a photo of himself at the gym training and preparing for SEAL Team season 4. Most of the cast could relate to this, given that the series is physically demanding and features a lot of action scenes.

But, it remains to be seen whether or not the story itself would change in light of the real-life health crisis. Military teams don't usually suspend operations, so the show may deliver stories in different ways. Perhaps, it could feature the difficulties of such groups going through beyond the norm.

Meanwhile, David Boreanaz, who plays Jason Hayes, also wants to start filming the new installment. In a previous interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the actor revealed they're hoping to begin production in August. But, they also have to consider the current health state of Los Angeles, where filming happens.

The good news is that the writers' room has already been opened. Although the production date is still hanging up in the air, producers and creators were already setting up stories in advance. If ever, SEAL Team season 4 could arrive on CBS in either late 2020 or early 2021.

Also, the remaining episodes that weren't aired in the third installment might be incorporated in the new season. For Jason and Mandy (Jessica Pare), more stories are coming for them, especially after what happened to them in season 3 finale.

Jason kissed Mandy, hinting that a potential romance is coming along the way. Speaking to TVLine, Boreanaz teased people would be very surprised with what's next for the two in SEAL Team season 4. Their relationship will further develop as the series progresses.
