The Chi season 3 episode 8 is coming later this week on Showtime, with the title "Frunchroom." The episode will continue to follow Keisha's storyline, especially since she's still trapped with everything she's been through this season. Although she's free now, the trauma that she suffered is haunting her.
In The Chi season 3 episode 8, Keisha is trapped in her own personal nightmare and she's fighting the demons inside her head. Her disappearance has been one of the major mysteries this season, and we finally got an answer as to where she is in the previous episodes.
Ronnie was able to locate and help Keisha escape from her abductor, Omari. Even though she is already free, she's still stuck with the trauma that she lived with through most of the season. This is something she has to deal with as the story progresses.
The promo of the upcoming episode sees Keisha dealing with her mental health. She's gone through horrific and terrible experiences, where she was held captive and tormented and treated like nothing. She suffered for much and her whole life is not the same anymore.
Her family is thrilled that she's alive, but that doesn't mean everything would go easy for Keisha. She can't feel the support of the people around her, as she continues to see the man who abducted her whenever she closes her eyes. What happened to her caused a huge impact on her future.
Meanwhile, The Chi season 3 episode 8 also sees Ronnie hoping to be absolved of his past transgression. What happened to him and Keisha could be a step towards redemption. He is willing to risk his own life for the sake of someone else, which indicates that he is now moving in a positive direction.
However, redemption is not something that could come around overnight, considering what he's done in the past. It's clear that he wanted to help himself change, but that won't be easy at all. He needs to prove to everyone that he can be redeemed -- and saving Kiesha is just one step to get there.
As for what else is coming in this week's episode, Kevin, Nina, and Dre worrying about their future. Since there are only a few episodes left this season, we could expect some of their stories to further build-up moving forward.
