Fans are about to see Ana de Armas as the sultry siren Paloma in the new Bond movie, No Time To Die. However, there are reports the 32-year-old actress cannot bring her boyfriend, Ben Affleck, to the film's red carpet premiere.

According to Daily Mail, big bosses behind the iconic franchise wanted Armas to attend the movie's red carpet premiere without Affleck so that all eyes would be on the lead character, Daniel Craig. A source told The Sun it would be a disaster if people would see the couple's major PDA that they might overshadow the event.

The two made their romance public in March after they finished the production of their erotic thriller movie, Deep Water, in the fall last year. Since then, they could often be seen packing major PDA whenever they are out and about.

Hence, the insider added that the bosses did not want a "circus sideshow" to happen at the movie premiere. Allegedly, the "head honchos" want to keep everything "on-brand."

Mirror Online added that the red carpet event for No Time To Die has been "a long time coming." However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there have been a lot of delays.

As the event is now going to push through, the movie's bosses want the entire spotlight to be on the main stars of the film, Craig and Armas. The film was supposed to be out in April 2020, but with the many impending films, it, too, was postponed.

No Time To Die has been the most expensive Bond movie to date. It may be partly because of the additional marketing costs due to the moving release dates from November 2019 to February 2020 to April 2020 and, hopefully, to November 2020.

The movie has also been plagued with a lot of issues even before the production started. The original director, Danny Boyle, quitted the project due to creative differences. Cary Joji Fukunaga then replaced him.

The scriptwriters also had to rewrite the script due to Craig's ankle injury. The Pinewood set also blew up because of an accident that added more problems to the film-making process.

No Time To Die will be the last film that will feature Craig as James Bond. The movie also includes Rami Malek as the villain, Safin, and other returning casts, like Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny, Lea Seydoux as Dr. Madeleine Swann, and Christoph Waltz as Ernst Stavro Blofeld.
