Filming Crossroads in 2002 was an unforgettable experience for Britney Spears. First, because it was her first movie; and second, because she had a serious acne problem back then.

In her latest quarantine selfie on Instagram, Spears revealed that she had an acne problem when she first took her shot in Hollywood. The "Oops!... I Did It Again" singer said she was struggling with skin problems while filming her first movie, Crossroads, and that she needed to ask her dermatologist for stronger acne treatment.

The pop singer said though she saw an immediate result on her skin, she warned those who use skin care products to be cautious. She said "prescribed products" could be really strong and could have harmful effects on the skin.

The "Toxic" singer landed her first movie role in 2002 at the age of 21. She starred in the comedy film along with Guardians of the Galaxy actress Zoe Saldana and Orange Is The New Black star Taryn Manning.

In her latest snap, Britney was seen wearing a floral off-the-shoulder crop top. She also wore a handmade flower crown that was made of roses from her garden.

Britney Spears said she gives credit to the sun for lifting my spirits and giving her a natural glow. She shared a photo of her showing her natural beauty with light makeup while taking her daily dose of vitamin D.

Aside from her selfie, Britney, also, posted on Instagram Story a photo of her and her boyfriend, Sam Asghari. The 38-year-old singer and Asghari appeared to have taken the photo while inside a car.

Britney and Sam have been together for almost four years now. They, recently, reunited after months of spending quarantine in different places. The pop superstar spent the first months of the lockdown with her family in Louisiana.

Meanwhile, this wasn't the first time that Britney Spears talked about skincare products and makeup. Over the weekend, the "Baby One More Time" singer, also, shared her latest skincare dilemma to her nearly 30 million followers on Instagram. In her post, Spears said she was having a hard time choosing which facial product to use as she can't have her regular oxygen facials because of the lockdown.

Last month, she, also, shared a selfie with her fans in which she appeared to wear light makeup and mascara. She told her followers that she now believed that a little makeup is "the way to go" to look younger and beautiful. Spears has been known for her heavy eyeliner to complete her dramatic look on stage.
