Britney Spears has been very active on social media, particularly during the coronavirus pandemic lockdown. She regularly shares photos or videos of her Instagram account. However, a tabloid claimed that, behind Spears' smile on her posts, she is actually having a hard time quarantining alone.

Star cited a source who claimed that the lockdown is already taking a toll on the "Toxic" singer mainly because she is alone and also has limited communication with her sons. The supposed insider added Britney has very few friends who she can reach out during trying times like this.

The tabloid added Britney's boyfriend, Sam Asghari, don't offer much help to the "Oops!... I Did It Again" singer. It alleged that Asghari spends most of his time at his apartment, with his friends, or at the gym rather than with Spears.

Star claimed since the singer is alone, she opted to reach out to people virtually. It alleged that the singer had spent hours recording dancing videos or taking selfie photos because she is bored.

Britney Spears could be bored staying at home but it doesn't mean she is having a hard time during the lockdown. It wasn't true that she also quarantined alone during the entire duration of the lockdown.

It can be recalled that Britney's sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, earlier mentioned in an interview with Entertainment Tonight in May, that the singer spent weeks with her and their entire family during the COVID-19 lockdown. She said her sister, however, traveled back to Los Angeles because her kids are there. This means the Crossroads actress wasn't all alone during the entire lockdown.

It is not also true that Sam Asghari doesn't spend time with his girlfriend. Earlier last month, Britney shared several snaps of her with Asghani at the beach. Some of their photos showed the couple wearing masks, which means the photos were taken recently.

There have been speculations about Britney Spears' mental health lately as some of her fans expressed concern over her posts on Instagram. Some believed that her flower-themed posts were her way of asking help.

These speculations stemmed from the fact that a new hearing on Britney Spears' conservatorship is set to take place on July 22. Her fans also reactivated the #FreeBritney campaign in light of the upcoming hearing. More than 134,000 fans have so far signed the petition asking for the 38-year-old singer to have the right to hire her own lawyer to help her get out of her father's conservatorship.
