Melania Trump relocated to the White House months after Donald Trump's inauguration. But, despite moving in late, she has already done a lot of renovations inside the property within three years.

Recently, she announced that she will "oversee" the renovations of the Rose Garden, according to CNN. She, reportedly, aims to restore the "iconic greenspace" into its original design.

Reports said that the move is similar to what her predecessor Jackie Kenney did during her time inside the White House. As noted, former US President John F. Kennedy established the Rose Garden, which is adjacent to the Oval Office and West Wing, in 1962.

Melania Trump deemed the new project as a "hope" for a "bright future." She, also, said that the act of planting a garden "involves hard work."

While her fans and followers praised her for doing the renovations, many netizens slammed her on social media. Several individuals, reportedly, pointed out that the timing of the project is inappropriate given the situation in the United States.

As emphasized, the country has continued to face the impacts of the pandemic crisis, which has already affected over five million American lives. The First Lady's camp countered, however, that the decision to revamp the Rose Garden was, allegedly, made a few months ago.

Regardless of the time when they came up with the decision, netizens said that doing so remains inappropriate. But, amid all these, it has since appeared that Melania Trump and the rest of the East Wing will continue to move forward with the renovations.

Aside from the criticisms about its timing, though, netizens also criticized the First Lady's abilities to do re-designs and renovations. Reports stated that this has seemingly sparked the controversies and criticisms of her previous renovations inside the White House, particularly the White House's bowling alley.

She received condemnation after the refurbishment, according to the Daily Express. As it happened, she used a "wrong branding" in the equipment that, reportedly, stirred a lot of discussions among the public.

Instead of using the brand, "The People's House," Melania Trump's renovations saw the labels as "The President's House." Netizens were, reportedly, quick to notice the mistakes in 2018, causing a huge backlash toward the First Lady.

The publication said that many individuals slammed the President's wife on the comment sections of her renovation posts. While some, repeatedly, pointed out that the White House is referred to as "The People's House," others seemingly made fun of it. They asserted that it came as a surprise when the labels do not read as "Trump's House."
