However, reports claimed that Barron once "rejected" her mother's display of "affection" before the public, according to the Daily Express.

It, reportedly, happened during Donald Trump's inauguration in January 2017 as both of them accompanied the now-U.S. President through the crowd.
Amid their waves and greetings before the voters, the reports said that the First Lady "grabbed" her son's hand as a "sign of unity." However, her then-12-year-old son "snatched" his hand away from her,
Following the awkward encounter, Melania tried to straighten her son's tie, instead. She also, reportedly, patted her son's head after.
Alongside the "rejection," netizens, then, pointed out Barron Trump's "boredom" during the event. The publication stated that many individuals took their thoughts to social media to talk about the young Trump's yawns. One even commented that the public felt how boring the inauguration was in comparison to Obama's.

The campaign among netizens on Twitter, reportedly, started after an anonymous Roblox profile emerged, leading many people to believe that it belongs to Melania's son.
Previous reports claimed that Barron Trump does not have any social media accounts. But, the speculations have continued to emerge that the anonymous profile, with the handle, "JumpyTurtlee," was his.
Sources said that some of his schoolmates were the ones who confirmed that the account was, indeed, Barron's. The campaign, then, started, following the "interests" that the profile follows include anime and K-pop. Netizens, reportedly, believe that the young Trump is "pure" and "innocent" based on his interests.
