The Flash season 7 is not arriving until next year on The CW, but the series has been releasing posters featuring some of the characters. One of the latest posters focused on Candice Patton's Iris West-Allen, who has been through a lot in most of the sixth installment.

The official Twitter account of the series shared a photo of Iris alongside a caption "heroes will be reborn." It's yet to be seen what does this means. But, based on what happened to the character in the previous season, she might be completely different in The Flash season 7.

At the end of season 6, Iris is the center of the huge cliffhanger, leaving her fate hanging up in the air. She's been stuck in the Mirrorverse for too long, and this could impact her life in a huge way. Iris is in real danger, so Barry needs to save his wife before it's too late.

In addition, their relationship will be affected as her time in the Mirrorverse possibly changed her and how she sees things. The biggest concern is that Iris could be the new Mirror Mistress, given that Eva was able to get out of the Mirrorverse at the end of season 6.

When The Flash season 7 premieres, we could see Barry doing whatever he can to take down Eva while trying to find ways to get Iris out of the Mirrorverse. The good thing is that he won't be alone in this fight as the Team Flash is there to help him get his wife back.

In another report, Hartley Sawyer won't be coming back as Ralph Dibny in The Flash season 7. Showrunner Eric Wallace, Berlanti Productions, Warner Bros. TV, and The CW announced that the actor has been fired after some of his racists and misogynistic Twitter posts from the past resurfaced.

It's not yet clear whether or not they'll recast the character. One of the major challenges here is that Hartley was part of the original season 6 finale, which was never filmed. The story is included in the new season, so writers will possibly make some adjustments.

Meanwhile, The Flash season 7 hasn't started filming yet, but production is expected to begin in the coming weeks. However, some things could be changed depending on the situation. Cast and crew could go back to work as long as the situation goes back to normal. But, based on what the poster teased, the new installment will premiere in 2021 on The CW.
