J-Hope is the official dance leader of BTS. While the members have professional dance teachers who help them with their choreography, they are known for adding their own style to the piece.
But, when it comes to J-Hope, who lives and breathes dancing, he can come up with a step to any type of song any. In fact, the BTS star even created an on-the-spot choreography for Jin’s hit solo, “Moon.”
BANGTAN TV, recently, uploaded the behind-the-scenes for BTS’s “Map Of The Song: 7.” The final cut was dropped on June 10, and it was something that ARMYs didn't expect.
Fans were already anticipating tears, thinking that the boys would be uploading a video of their journey from 2013 to 2020. But, what ARMYs got were tears of laughter from the chaotic Karaoke challenge of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.
The members were split into three units: first is the Maknae Line consists of Jimin, V, and Jungkook. The second is RM and Jin, and the last one is Suga and J-Hope. The BTS boys were aiming to win the grand prize, which is a pair of custom Galaxy earbuds.
After all the units performed and got their winnings, nobody picked the grand prize. The behind-the-scenes showed the boys singing more inside the Karaoke booth in an attempt to get additional chances to pick from the board. If they got “7” in their score (ex. 87 or 97), they can pick twice.
Jungkook tried his luck by singing Jin’s “Moon.” Upon hearing this, J-Hope quickly entered the Karaoke booth and danced his heart out to the beat. Jin doesn’t usually have choreography in his solos. So, ARMYs were very happy that the BTS rapper made one for him.
Many even commented that the steps J-Hope created fit perfectly to Jin’s solo. They were so impressed with his choreography that fans are claiming the steps to be official for “Moon.”
Even though J-Hope was just trying to be funny by making those moves, fans were actually in awe with his instant creation. Some even said that they would do J-Hope’s choreography when Jin performs “Moon” live on stage.
The funny part is that after the chorus, J-Hope left without a word, leaving Jungkook confused as to what just happened inside the booth. Big Hit editors even captioned the moment: “Then leaves after dropping some killer moves!”
