BTS and ARMYs know that Jungkook is the most competitive member of the group. He is, also, good at almost anything. So, when the boys are tasked to divide into groups, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, and V always want to be on the Golden Maknaes’s team. If it’s an individual challenge, the older boys would form an alliance to beat JK.
But, unlike in the past, Jungkook doesn’t seem to mind losing anymore. On the most recent episode of Run BTS!, the “My Time” singer was surprisingly relaxed during the treasure hunt game.
BTS was at the Hyundai Motor Studio in Goyang, where they had to go around the huge vicinity to find hints for the passcode to open a treasure. After the trial round, the staff told the boys that the final one is a solo round.
Upon hearing the announcement, the BTS boys quickly split up and started finding the hints. But, the very competitive Jungkook was moving really slow as if he didn’t care about winning.
While RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, and V scramble around the studio, trying to figure out the passcode for the treasure, Jungkook was like walking at the park. Although there were moments that he joined the other boys in their treasure hunt journey, he appeared to not be in a hurry like them at all.
Jungkook was even spotted eating a snack while the others were running around the studio. He, then, shared that he was fine with not winning, just as long as there was no penalty.
After finding all the hints, RM was the first one who managed to open the treasure. The BTS leader read the note inside it, put it back to the case, and left without a word. The next up was Jin, who also got the right passcode, read the note, and left. The same, also, happened to Suga, Jimin, J-Hope, and V.
As for Jungkook, he was still calmly walking around Hyundai Motor Studio. However, the BTS star finally felt the need to finish the game. So, he tried his luck with the passcode. He got three right and clicked the last correct code by accident. The staff, then, told him that the other boys already went home.
Being the loser of the episode, Jungkook was tasked to shout “Run BTS!” in the center of the studio to wrap things up. The Big Hit editor, then, captioned it: “Somewhat penalty” and “Shouting overtime work surrounded by cameras.”
