Suga may be shorter than his fellow BTS members but most of them are scared of him. The "Daechwita" rapper isn't as playful as the other members - hence the nickname "Grandpa" given to him by ARMYs.

While Suga enjoys hanging out with RM, Jin, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook he rarely passes up an opportunity to be alone and sleep. He likes to do things his way and tries to bend the rules, it is said.

But during an episode of Mnet's TMI News, Suga's former schoolteacher revealed he was the opposite as a student. Despite the 27-year-old rapper, songwriter and record producer being known for his lethargy now, he was completely different at school.

One of Suga's teachers said he was a diligent student and always followed the rules. The teacher said their school had strict rules - and the BTS rapper never broke a single one.

Suga was a member of the student council. Asked what his main role was the rapper said he made sure students followed the hair code. "Searching for hair code violations. We weren't allowed to have hair that covered our ears," Suga said.

And despite his "Grandpa" nickname Suga was an athlete. ARMYs know that the BTS star doesn't only like basketball but is good at it, too. Suga, who would rather lay down and do nothing, comes alive when he is on the basketball court. He made the school's basketball team.

Nevertheless, Suga was also known for his musical talents. The BTS rapper helped arrange his school's anthem and was already showing production skills as a student.

Now, Suga is a member of the biggest boy group on the planet as well as a respected producer. The "Shadow" rapper is very engaged when it comes to BTS and his solo projects. Back in May, Suga's alter ego Agust D made his comeback with "Daechwita." Suga said he worked hardest on the script when making the music video. He said he insisted on his own concept for "Daechwita" in spite of the director's desire to make it "minimal."
