Prince Harry is, reportedly, reading the comments section of the articles about him and Meghan Markle. He, apparently, cannot believe the amount of negativity online and usually regrets the opinions he reads.

Finding Freedom authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand wrote in the biography that Prince Harry gets his "stomach tied into the same knot" after reading the comments section. The Duke of Sussex, allegedly, thinks people on the internet are "miserable and angry."

Royal biographer Duncan Larcombe can confirm that Prince Harry likes to read stories about him on the internet. Larcombe said that the royal does this "religiously" unlike his father, Prince Charles, who have shunned newspapers many years ago.

Larcombe, also, said that Prince William follows stories about himself to some extent. Apparently, the sons of Prince Charles still value the public's opinion about them.

But, Prince Harry tends to get upset by the bad press even before his marriage to Meghan Markle. The royal biographer, also, thinks that this urge to know what people are saying is part of Prince Harry's honesty and directness. Those close to the royal said that this is the exact opposite trait of Prince Charles or even Queen Elizabeth.

Royal correspondent Rebecca English, also, recalled an incident where Prince Harry was peering over her computer as she was writing a story about their royal trip to Lesotho. This happened in 2006 and Prince Harry directly told her he wanted to see what she had to say.

English, who has been covering the royal family for 15 years, said that Prince Harry have always hated the spotlight but knows that he could use this popularity for good. He is the type of royal who wants to be just one of the regular guys. He has intimated to other correspondents a lot of times how much he just wants to walk away from this royal life.

Meanwhile, it's this negativity on the internet that prompted Prince Harry to write an essay on Fast Company urging tech leaders to redesign the platform. He said that social media is dividing the public but there's a way to make reforms.

Prince Harry cited initiatives like Stop Hate For Profit and the Global Alliance for Responsible Media (GARM) for helping change the standards on the internet. In particular, these initiatives are helping to curb hate speech and misinformation online.

The Duke of Sussex said that he worries for the kind of online space his son, Archie, will grow into. Thus, he's wants to create a safe space where "everyone wins."
