Queen Elizabeth II has been quiet over the reported feud between her grandsons Princes William and Harry but royal aides are reportedly alarmed about the effects of the brothers' feud. They have "begun openly discussing the impact it could have on the monarchy if things weren't righted."

The Duke of Sussex appeared to confirm the rift in a documentary last year when he said he and his brother were on "different paths."

Now, Harry and wife Meghan Markle's unofficial biography "Finding Freedom" claims the Queen is worried the feud may risk the future of the monarchy.

William and Harry have been close most of their lives but the tight relationship continued only until they began families of their own. Things began to change in 2018. Speculation emerged that William and Harry had fallen out. Rumors of a feud started on the internet - especially after Harry decided to step back from royal life.

Dylan Howard and Andy Tillett claimed in their book "Royals At War" that Harry's change of heart was the main reason for the falling out. They claimed the Duke of Sussex ramped up his spending ahead of the birth of his son. The book claims Harry and Markle were spending big on a showbiz lifestyle.

Harry and Markle are making a fresh start in Los Angeles after officially stepping down as senior royals. Many believe Markle is a strong influence on Harry and was behind the decision to quit royal life.
