Jimmy Kimmel showed his support to Dua Lipa after that latter guest-hosted Jimmy Kimmel Live! The 52-year-old host shut down a troll who left a negative comment not just for the 24-year-old pop star but to women in general.

Kimmel shared Lipa's monologue on the show's official Instagram page. The nine-minute video featured the singer-songwriter making a joke about her music, revealing her previous prank against the comedian himself, her Harry Potter house, and her tattoos.

However, one follower seemed to be unhappy with the "Don't Start Now" hitmaker's spiel and said, "women still aren't funny." Kimmel slammed the comment, saying if one woman would only talk to him someday, he would change his mind.

Meanwhile, during guest hosting the show, Lipa made noise by mistakenly calling Blake Shelton Gwen Stefani's husband in an interview. The No Doubt frontwoman, later, cleared that the country singer was not her husband but she found it cool when the "New Rules" singer said it, E! News noted.

Lipa just laughed it off and continued her hosting stint, like the professional that she is. They went on to talk about the 50-year-old signer's quarantine time with Shelton, her kids, and her brother's family at The Voice judge's Oklahoma ranch.

In addition, Lipa tried to find out if she was popular with the elderly as with the young crowd in the segment Who-a Lipa. Knowing most of her fans were young, she decided to reach out to some seniors to have a wider audience," per USA Today.

She virtually interviewed older people to see if they knew her while pretending to be someone who was only conducting a survey about music. Of course, she did not tell them who she was.

Lipa started asking questions about pop music before she eventually asked them if they knew Dua Lipa. Some of the participants asked, "who?" she was pertaining to or if it was the name of a person.

She, then, played her song "Break My Heart," which the seniors reviewed. Some loved it while others were not sure, saying, "she might do well on TikTok."

Lipa, then, tried to show a photo of the song's artist to see if they could guess if it were her. But, instead, one woman noticed her clothes more, calling her crop top "terrible" and adding that she would not let her daughter wear that.

Another one chimed in that she was "trying too hard" with her outfit. Lipa remained a good sport, though, laughing on their comments and eventually revealing her real identity.

As expected, they were all surprised. One said she would buy her CD immediately, while others seemed to be embarrassed about what they said about her.
