Kylie Jenner fans showed their support after a designer accused the reality star of not tagging lesser known designers in her Instagram posts if she wasn't paid.

American fashion designer and reality TV personality Michael Costello called out The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star after posting a photo of a designer dress she wore for her birthday -  tagging Balmain designer Olivier Rousteing.

Costello left a lengthy comment on Jenner's post criticizing her method of posting and tagging.

He "no-name designers" worked hard to make Jenner's custom looks but Jenner wouldn't "tag, mention or even add an "@" unless she was paid.

Costello said his comments had nothing to do with his own creations. However, he would feel lucky if he received a post for them.

He also said it wasn't an attack on the "hardworking members" of Jenner's "glam team" who turned out her incredible looks. Designers worked very hard for opportunities to dress famous women - who often tagged only high-end designers like Rousteing.

Costello mentioned L.A. designers and said he was only looking for the occasional tag. But Jenner's fans were annoyed.

One said Costello sounded "entitled." She thought Jenner wasn't obliged to tag designers she bought clothes from. Others concurred. Another told Costello to mind his own business.

However, some agreed with Costello and called his comments "well said." His comments received more than 23,000 likes and more than 800 replies. Jenner didn't respond to Costello.

It is not the first time Jenner has been called out for not mentioning designers on her Instagram. Daily Mail said some of her followers had claimed she "refused" to tag a black-owned fashion brand after wearing one of its creations and sharing a photo of it.

In a recent trip to Utah resort Amangiri, Jenner wore a dress by LoudBrand Studios. However, she didn't mention the brand in a post.

She said the claims against her - from refusing to tag brands to blocking comments - were not true. Jenner said she found the brand amazing and wanted to show her support - tagging its name at the end of the post.
