Speculation of a feud between Princes William and Harry has quickly made the rounds on the internet. Omid Scobie, one of the authors of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's unofficial biography Finding Freedom, says the brothers hardly spoke after Harry and Markle's royal exit.

"The statements weren't discussed internally. That's really what caused the most amount of hurt to William because he wears two hats. He's not just the brother, he's also the future king and he felt that damaged the reputation of the family," Scobie says in an interview.

William is the second in the line to the British throne. Queen Elizabeth had been preparing him for his future role and it seems William didn't appreciate his brother creating an issue by stepping down as a senior royal.

Scobie claims William and Harry haven't spoken since the Sandringham summit. And with Harry settling in the U.S. he says the distance between the brothers "grew wider and wider."

However, royal expert Nick Bullen told Fox News that William wants to rebuild his relationship with Harry. The Duke of Cambridge is reconnecting with his younger brother through private Zoom calls during the coronavirus lockdown.

Royal expert Katie Nicholl also revealed that William and Harry may finally be healing their feud. She said the royal brothers chat on video calls.

Nicholl says Harry is homesick and feels it's the "right time" to reconnect with William. The royal watcher says tension between Kate Middleton and Markle has cooled, too.
