G-Dragon celebrated his 32nd birthday by revealing his upcoming collaboration with Nike. He shared his new sneaker design for the brand.

According to a report by All Kpop, G-Dragon's new design will be part of Nike's collaboration with GD's fashion line called peaceminusone.

G-Dragon shared snaps of the new sneaker line which will be made available by Nike and peaceminusone soon. The white sneakers in the photos featured similar design elements from G-Dragon's previous collaboration with Nike for the brand's Air Force 1 low Paranoise. The shoes, prominently, featured peaceminusone's dragon daisy icon, as well as graffiti scratch marks on the sides of the shoe.

It can be recalled that G-Dragon's previous partnership with Nike was such a smash hit that the sneaker line was sold out worldwide in a matter of minutes. All it took was 0.06 seconds for stocks to sell out entirely in China, where GD enjoys a strong fanbase.

In the U.S. and Canada, Air Force 1 low Paranoise was sold out within five minutes. The limited-edition sneakers were also sold out in Australia in 10 minutes. Stocks were depleted in Indonesia within 9 minutes. Paranoise was sold out in the United Kingdom in two minutes.

In total, G-Dragon's Paranoise sneakers were sold out all across 44 countries in the space of 30 minutes.G-Dragon's collab with Nike was his first project after he was discharged from the military last year.

Feedback for the latest project was mainly positive from fans who commented on G-Dragon's post. Some fans said that they liked the versatility of the design because they can be worn as everyday shoes but they could also be worn for high fashion events.

Some fans said that they were even better than the last ones. Some said that the daisy logo looked so good with the shoes.

While fans were preoccupied with the shoes, G-Dragon's good friends, Taeyang and former 2NE1 leader CL, took time out to greet him a happy birthday as he turned 32 on August 18, Soompi reported.

In his post, Taeyang posted cute images of himself and G-Dragon when they were still kids, which showed just how long they have been friends. CL, similarly, posted a throwback black and white photo of herself with the birthday boy, which she complemented with stickers of a dragon and a cherry. The stickers were allusions to GD's name and CL's name, which sounds like cherry.

G-Dragon, also, posted some random snaps to celebrate with VIPs on social media. Most of his photos were related to peaceminusone.
