Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are, reportedly, working on a top-secret TV project in Hollywood and have met with network executives since June to pitch their ideas. Reports stated that the Sussex pair plan to produce a show but it's still unclear whether if it's a scripted or unscripted series.

According to Variety, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had a meeting with NBC bosses, including NBCUniversal Content Studios chairman Bonnie Hammer, in June. The network executive, reportedly, knows Markle from her years as an actress of Suits. The TV show ran on USA Network, the cable channel under the NBCUniversal banner.

NBCUniversal nor representatives of Prince Harry and Meghan won't comment on the Variety report. A source told the news outlet, however, that Meghan has no plans to be in front of the cameras for this project.

Another source told Us Weekly that the Sussex pair is "determined to make it in Hollywood." Prince Harry, in particular, wants to focus on documentaries and will be flexing his creative streak. The source, also, revealed that the Duke of Sussex might be seen in front of the cameras as a spokesperson.

Prince Harry, apparently, didn't see himself working in Hollywood before. Since stepping back from his royal role, he realized that there's an opportunity for him to explore this new world with his wife. The source added that the royal reportedly cannot wait to get their projects off the ground.

According to Daily Mail, Prince Harry and Meghan discussed their plans to produce Hollywood projects with former President and First Lady Barack and Michelle Obama in January. The Sussex couple, apparently, wants to mimic the Obama brand, who established the production company, Higher Ground, and landed a deal with Netflix after leaving the White House.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, also, signed on with the Harry Walker Agency in June. The New York company is the same agency that handles the Obamas' speaking engagements.

Finding Freedom author Omid Scobie, also, said that Prince Harry and Meghan are basing their work on the Obamas and will carry out bigger plans for their career in 2021. While the Sussex pair initially wanted to advocate for mental health, recent events have prompted them to also cover issues like race, civil rights and class, just like the Obamas.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry has a couple of documentaries in the pipeline. He's due to appear in Netflix's documentary series Rising Phoenix, which is about the Paralympics. He, also, has a mental health documentary with Oprah Winfrey and Apple TV+.

Meghan, on the other hand, did the voice over for the Elephants documentary for Disney Plus. Sources, however, don't know if the couple also approached these streaming platforms to pitch their top-secret TV show.
