Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner have become one of today's most powerful couples in the United States. After Donald Trump won the 2016 presidential election, they joined the patriarch of the Trump family inside the White House.

Sources revealed, however, that the First Daughter and her husband did not support the incumbent U.S. President because of "loyalty" or familial ties. They said that they rallied behind him to expand further their connections, according to the Daily Express.

To date, they are serving Trump's administration as top Senior Advisors. While the positions come with salaries, the couple decided to "forgo" their pays and continued to do the job without earning money.

In the book, Kushner, Inc., author Vicky Ward said that many of Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner's friends and "business associates" do not believe that they supported the "populist agenda" of Trump's camp. Instead, they, reportedly, think that the couple is just after the "networking opportunities."

The publication, then, added that while the truth to these claims has remained unconfirmed, the idea of it is not too far-fetched. The reason being is that most of the First Daughter and her husband's Jewish circles find the U.S. President's policies appalling.

They were, reportedly, "aghast" and "disturbed" when Donald Trump declared his plans to build a wall in the U.S. and Mexico borders. They, also, felt the same way about the so-called "Muslim ban."

Ivanka Trump has, repeatedly, defended her side against the claims that she agrees with all of her father's policies, despite having opposing views. She, reportedly, countered that she always contradicts Donald Trump, adding that she does not share his views.

Reports, however, pointed out that the First Daughter has "backed" even the most "outrageous" things that the U.S. President did in his term. Sources, then, added that Jared Kushner is no different, describing him as just "as sinister as" his father-in-law.

With Ivanka Trump's current position, the same publication speculated that she might, one day, run for the presidency, just like her father. The speculations come after "famed" legal commentator William vanden Heuvel said that similar to the First Daughter, Bobby Kennedy, also, had the same experiences when his brother, John F. Kennedy appointed him to a senior post inside the White House.

Years after serving his brother's administration, Bobby, reportedly, aspired to run and become the next United States President. However, he did not achieve his goal following his assassination during a campaign trail in 1968.
