Kate Middleton was a commoner before she became the wife of Prince William in 2011. That being said, the Duchess of Cambridge is used to doing things like regular people do.

But, now, that she’s a member of the Royal Family, Kate Middleton needs to follow the protocols. In fact, the mother-of-three had to stop doing one particular passion due to strict Palace rules.

While walking the dog is a common and safe hobby, Kate Middleton is not allowed to do that anymore. Prince Harry told royal biographer Ingrid Seward that the Duchess of Cambridge is forced to walk her dog in a private field.

"Harry felt Kensington Palace was a prison. He was saying that Kate can't even walk her dog in Kensington Gardens like Diana used to go jogging. She can only walk it around the sort of private field. He said it is definitely a prison and he was desperate to get out,” Ingrid Seward said in True Royalty TV.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are, currently, living in Los Angeles after they stepped down as senior royals back in March. The couple had been speculated to be at war with the Royal Family, and many even noticed that the Duke of Sussex and Prince William are not as close as they were before.

The public has witnessed the close bond of Prince William and Prince Harry since they were young boys. Their tight relationship continued until they grew up and have families of their own.

However, things began to change in 2018. Prince William and Prince Harry had been speculated to not be on good terms anymore. Whispers and speculations of a feud between the Cambridges and Sussexes started to make their rounds on the internet, especially after the latter couple decided to remove themselves from the joint foundation and created their own charity.

In the documentary Harry and Meghan: An African Journey, Prince Harry finally addressed all the rumors about his and Prince William’s alleged fallout.

When Prince Harry was asked by Tom Bradby about his reported rift with his brother, he didn’t beat around the bush and directly answered the question. The Duke of Sussex admitted that he and Prince William are on “different paths” now.

Royal expert Rebecca English claims that Prince William was left in a state of “shock and horror” after Prince Harry’s confession. "Harry was publicly airing their dirty linen. I know he debated long and hard about what to do,” she said in a Channel 5 documentary.
