Margot Robbie and Prince Harry used to have fun parties in London during the Duke of Sussex's days as a bachelor and the Hollywood star has one piece of advice for her friend now that they are both living in the same state in America.
Speaking with New! Magazine, Robbie said that time is what Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, needs to get settled in their new life and a new home in Montecito. The Suicide Squad star said that she moved countries two times so she understands that it's not going to be easy to get settled.
However, she assured her royal friend that California will feel like home in due time. The neighboring city of Los Angeles, where Prince Harry and Meghan plan to work, has a lot to offer as well.
Robbie, also, said that she has yet to have dinner with Prince Harry and Meghan but she definitely plans to have the Sussex couple over her L.A. home with husband Tom Ackerley, a film director. The actress has yet to meet Meghan in person but she knows she will easily relate to the Sussexes especially when it comes to moving cities.
According to Elle Magazine, Robbie and the Duke of Sussex met at Suki Waterhouse's housewarming party in 2015. For the next several months, the friends would hang out at different parties in London, where Robbie moved from Australia to be with her husband.
Robbie shared the funny story of her first time to meet the royal in the flesh with Jimmy Fallon on his late-night talk show. She, apparently, mistook Prince Harry for the redhead singer Ed Sheeran.
Over time, Robbie and Prince Harry became comfortable with each other that she would prank text the Duke of Sussex. The Hollywood star said that the royal is "the most normal guy ever."
Despite her friendship with Prince Harry, Robbie, apparently, didn't get an invite to his wedding to Meghan in 2018. Speaking on The Kyle & Jackie O' Show, Robbie said that she did not expect to be at the royal event since she's "not that close" to Prince Harry.
As far as their relationship goes, Prince Harry and Robbie often bump into each other at social gatherings. They have exchanged numbers but the actress confessed that she doesn't get to reply to the prince's messages quickly because of her busy schedule.
