It will be years before Kate Middleton becomes the Queen Consort but she has been training for this future role since marrying Prince William in 2011. The Duchess of Cambridge is, apparently, ramping up her royal training in recent months and has been impressively building up her credentials.

Royal expert Katie Nicholls said, in the documentary True Royalty's Kate: The Making of a Future Queen, that these are deliberate preparations. Palace courtiers are, apparently, cleverly grooming Kate for her future role because the royals and their staff are aware of her power and influence.

Nicholls said that Kate has already done one of two things as future Queen successfully. She produced three beautiful heirs and she's raising George, Charlotte and Louis as well-rounded as possible. Her other role is to be the Queen Consort when Prince William is crowned the King of England and the public has been witnessing Kate in training.

The royal expert said that Kate's training during the COVID-19 lockdown saw her become the "beacon of hope" for those struggling during the pandemic. Her successful Hold Still photo contest, which documents life during the lockdown, helped put Kate in the forefront. Her partnership with Prince William, as they did Zoom virtual calls with various organizations highlighted the Cambridges as this "young, glamorous, dynamic duo."

Royal correspondent Russell Myers said in the podcast Pod Save the Queen that Kate did something out of the blue that proved she's ready for the monarchy. She quietly spearheaded a donation drive for Baby Basics UK and called up major retailers to provide 10,000 baby essential products for vulnerable families.

Kate was motivated to do this after visiting the organization at the beginning of the lockdown and heard stories of families that made the duchess quite emotional. Apparently, the moment she got home after that visit, Kate started making calls to seek companies who can help these families.

Myers said that Kate continued with "the business of monarchy" amid controversies like the Finding Freedombiography and Prince Andrew's sex trafficking scandal. The royal expert said that this is a job expected of Kate as the future Queen and she successfully delivered.

What's even astonishing for both Myers and Nicholls is that Kate is getting her royal training while being a mom to two school-age children and a toddler. In between her royal duties, Kate guided Prince George and Princess Charlotte in their school work while in isolation at Anmer Hall. She, also, managed to have her children a fun and educational lockdown experience by holding gardening and kitchen activities.
