Prince Harry and Meghan Markle just moved into their new home in Montecito, California. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were reportedly staying at Tyler Perry’s multimillion-dollar mansion before they transferred to their new place.
In a video call with the Rugby Football League, Prince Harry praised his huge outdoor space. The Duke of Sussex noted that it would be perfect for practicing his old favorite sport, which is not played as much in the U.S.
Prince Harry also said that the garden space is an ideal area to play with his son Archie. However, he shared one major downside to his new California home.
“What I need is a few mini rugby balls that I can then get Archie involved with the game because at the moment it's impossible to find any. But I've got a little space outside, which I'm fortunate enough to have so I need to get him playing some Rugby League,“ he said.
Prince Harry shared that Archie is his and Meghan Markle’s number one priority. While the arrival of their son brought immense joy to them, the younger son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana couldn’t help but feel worried at the same time.
A lot of things have happened around the globe that have led to a lot of concerns. With Prince Harry being a father now, he said he felt pressure to ensure he can give Archie the future that he deserves. The Duke of Sussex voiced his concerns in a heartfelt letter for the 2019 annual report of the African Parks. He is the president of the association.
But Prince Harry remained realistic in his letter. He didn’t say that he wished things didn’t happen. Instead, the Duke of Sussex wants to show the next generation that we did experience all these issues and that people helped hand in hand to solve the matter.
One of the reasons why Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decided to quit royal life is to be away from the spotlight as much as possible. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex clearly said that they would want to live a “peaceful life” outside the royal family, and their main goal is to protect their son Archie from the dangers of being a public figure.
But just because Prince Harry and Meghan Markle officially stepped down as senior royals at the end of March, that does not mean that people are not interested in them anymore. Their relocation to Los Angeles didn’t save them from being followed by the media.
