Sandara Park released a dramatic cover of "Like a Dream" on her DaraTV YouTube channel.

According to a report by Soompi, Dara released the cover of Ben's "Like a Dream," which was one of the tracks from the Another Oh Hae Young OST. It was one of the songs she performed for the stage musical version of Another Oh Hae Young.

Her emotional rendition won the hearts of fans who praised her for the vast improvement of her vocal performance. Sandara was, also, lauded for projecting the feelings that went with the song in the simple music video.

It can be recalled that Sandara made her stage musical debut early in the year after she was cast in the stage adaptation of the tvN drama. The former 2NE1 member said that she had to make major adjustments to her performance because singing as a recording artist and as a stage actress were very different.

Last month, Dara teased that she was going to release an MV sometime in August. BLACKJACKs assumed that she was going to make her solo debut more than three years after 2NE1's disbandment, All Kpop reported.

Even though Dara's cover was not the solo debut that fans have been expecting, they were still satisfied with Sandara's efforts. According to some of the comments, Dara deserved to be groomed as a solo artist by YG Entertainment after all of her 2NE1 members launched solo careers.

It can be recalled that Minzy released her solo album UNO under Music Works in 2017, a year after she parted ways with YG Entertainment. She, recently, left Music Works to make a solo comeback with the track "Lovely."

After a big misunderstanding with YG's subsidiary, Black Label, Park Bom, also, restarted her career as a solo artist under D-Nation with the album Spring. She collaborated with Sandara Park twice for the songs "Spring" and "First Snow." They did a cover for 2NE1's "Lonely" after a Kpop concert in the Philippines got canceled last year.

CL, also, left YG Entertainment last year and ventured into her solo career with her In the Name of Love project album.

Since 2NE1's disbandment, Dara starred in two Korean films, the musical drama One Step, and Cheese in the Trap. She, also, shone as an MC for several lifestyle shows, variety shows and is, currently, a regular MC of Video Star.
