Prince Harry and Meghan Markle just signed a blockbuster deal with Netflix. The couple has finally confirmed all speculations regarding their plans to join the entertainment scene after their relocation to the U.S.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will produce films, documentaries, and children’s shows for the streaming giant. However, there are concerns that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Netflix deal would cause tension with the Royal Family.

According to a royal insider, the Palace will demand the right to "cast a critical eye" over the contract Prince Harry and Meghan Markle signed.

“Harry and Meghan did leave as working members of the family with everyone’s best wishes and it is sincerely hoped they find the happiness that appeared to be lacking in their lives. However, it goes without saying any deals they are making will be scrutinized by the royal household,” they said.

This is not the first time that Buckingham Palace reacted to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s activities after their royal exit. Before the release of the couple’s unofficial biography Finding Freedom, the book’s publisher claimed that it will dispel “many rumors and misconceptions which have plagued the couple on both sides of the pond."

A report, then, revealed that the Palace branded Finding Freedom as a “soap opera.” The insider, also, added that the Royal Family has so many books written about them. So, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s unofficial biography is not something that would shock them anymore as they are allegedly “used to it.”

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been, constantly, dealing with public scrutiny since the moment they said their “I dos” back in 2018. But, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex appeared to have taken all the criticisms well as they continued to complete their royal duties effectively.

Although it was no secret that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had a love-hate relationship with the media, nobody was prepared when the couple announced early this year that they will be stepping down from their senior royal roles to have a “peaceful life.” The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, officially, finished their final royal engagements in March and headed to Los Angeles, where they are, currently, residing with their son Archie.

Before the lockdown, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced that they will be launching a new foundation called “Archewell.” One of the reasons for their withdrawal was to focus on their family and charities.
