Justin Bieber and BTS share a mutual admiration for each other's work. From time to time, Bieber posted shoutouts to the group and BTS members sometimes sang or did covers of the Canadian singer's songs. However, for the first time, Bieber did not only congratulated BTS for their latest feat but he also gushed about the chart-topping group's achievements.

In an exclusive voiceover for E! News, Bieber explained the impact of the South Korean group and their latest hit single "Dynamite." Justin started off by saying BTS's latest song marked their first time to release an all-English language track.

Almost all of the septet's songs were peppered with English phrases but they never had a song with lyrics written entirely in English. Bieber noted that "Dynamite" received more air time in U.S. radio stations because of this as compared to the group's Korean-language songs such as "ON' and "Boy With Luv."

The "Sorry" hitmaker then noted that the "Dynamite" music video also shattered the YouTube record of most views in 24 hours. The song recorded more than 101 million views in a day. As of writing, the MV sits at 315 million views, breaking the 300 million mark over the weekend.

Bieber added BTS's latest single is also the most commented video on the platform. The group broke the record that their very own song "DNA" set. "Dynamite" already accumulated 6.5 million comments. "DNA", on the other hand, has more than 6.2 million.

Perhaps, the biggest feat that the K-pop juggernaut ever achieved for "Dynamite" was its debut at No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100, making them the first K-pop act to reach the peak of the chart. The highest that a Korean act reached in Hot 100 was No. 2 with Psy's "Gangnam Style" in 2012.

Justin Bieber added Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are not only breaking records in America but on a global scale as well. "Dynamite" debuted at No. 3 on the Official UK Singles Chart, making it the septet's most successful track in the chart. It is also their first entry to the Top 10 single and the highest a K-pop act had ever reached.

"If anyone knows how to make history, it's BTS," the "Yummy" singer gushed.

Bieber also listed down the group's impressive performances at the Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve, at the Grand Central Station for The Tonight Show, and their most recent virtual appearance at the 2020 MTV VMAs. The 26-year-old singer noted that BTS stole the VMAs show for their knock-out performance of "Dynamite" despite doing it virtually.

In the end, Justin Bieber said BTS ARMY shouldn't expect to see their beloved group to produce an all-English album even after hitting No. 1 in the U.S. He echoed BTS' stand that the Korean language will always be part of their art and identity and they can reach out to their fans without changing who they are.
