BTS may still see themselves as a simple group, but they have achieved a lot of things and have broken multiple records. Because of their unstoppable success, younger K-pop groups look up to RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook and see them as inspiration.
But, TXT has an upper hand when it comes to having a closer relationship with BTS. The five-member group is also from the same agency as RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. Meaning, they see and interact with them more often than the other groups could.
In fact, Taehyun even has the pleasure to exchange text messages with J-Hope. The TXT star previously revealed that he is closest to the “Ego” rapper out of all the BTS members.
In BTS’ In the Soop Episode 3 Behind-the-scenes, J-Hope confirmed his close relationship with Taehyun. The BTS rapper shared that he suddenly got a message from the TXT star, asking him for some advice.
“He asked me for some advice for their comeback, so I told them that they should always be confident and give it their best,” J-Hope said.
Jimin, then, asked J-Hope if he has some advice for him as well. The “Ego” rapper first gave him the same advice as he told Taehyun, which is to be confident. A few seconds later, JH took his words back and jokingly told JM to take his confidence down a notch.
“Actually, you need to tone your confidence down,” J-Hope told Jimin and laughed. Even though the BTS rapper was just kidding, JM, being the good dongsaeng that he is, told JH that he’ll listen to his “wise words.” (Watch the clip here).
All the BTS boys are extremely close, but J-Hope and Jimin have a special bond because they are the only two remaining members who share the same room in their apartment. While the boys have their own multimillion-dollar homes, they spend a lot of time in their apartment for meetings and practices.
J-Hope and Jimin also showed their tight bond in their new reality program. The very first episode of In the Soop was filled with the duo’s laughter and silly antics.
The pair made fun of Jungkook’s snoring while they were discussing their sleeping arrangement. J-Hope and Jimin imitated JK’s snoring, and JM took it up a notch by saying that the Golden Maknae snores like a car revving up, prompting JH to laugh even louder.
But, don't feel bad for Jungkook for he had his quiet revenge by almost stopping Jimin’s blood from circulating when he tightened his boxing hand wraps. (Watch the clip here).
