Meghan Markle has always encouraged healthy eating habits. Even before she joined the British Royal Family, she has already shared her most favorite dishes and snacks several times.

The Duchess of Sussex's now-defunct blog, The Tig, featured some of her healthy recipes. While many have since known about her "diet" and her healthy lifestyle, not everyone knows about her "unusual eating habits," according to Hello! magazine.

The publication listed some of Meghan's unique ways of eating her snacks and dishes. On top of the list is her unusual go-to snack, watermelon with a little spice on top.

Speaking to Today in 2012, Meghan Markle revealed that she always brings a container of watermelon everywhere she goes, especially on the set of Suits. She added that she always puts cinnamon on top because the spice "elevates" the flavor.

She, also, takes it with feta and mint at times. To make it more "special," she tosses the healthy snack with a "little olive oil."

But, if not watermelons and cinnamons, her other go-to snack is homemade crisps. She previously shared that she bakes kale chips with "good olive oil" and a little Himalayan pink sea salt.

The Duchess noted, however, that the process takes time mainly because washing and drying the kale is time-consuming. Nevertheless, it only takes 25 minutes to bake the kale chips.

When craving for pasta, Meghan Markle has her very own creamy pasta sauce. However, she does not use butter and oil to make it. Instead, she uses zucchini, water, and "a little bouillon."

The Duchess of Sussex previously stated that she found it "very healthy." In order to make it creamy, though, is by slow-cooking the zucchini slices for "four to five" hours.

Earlier in August, Insider's Savanna Swain-Wilson shared her journey as she tried Meghan Markle's healthy eating habits for ten days. She noted that the former Suits actress is "not a fan" of the word, "diet."

She asserted that this might be the reason why the Duchess's eating habits have continued to change over the years. Swain-Wilson recalled that Markle used to say that she was vegan, adding that there were, also, times when she called herself a "pescatarian."

While she revealed that the Duchess of Sussex's eating habits are very easy to follow and maintain, she found it difficult to let go of her caffeine. As reported, Meghan Markle has a different morning cup. Instead of coffee, she drinks warm lemon water to start her day.
